This shows an outline effect designed to provide a sense of what is around the character even when in very dark surroundings (to represent the hero character's ability to navigate in the dark)
This clip shows off the general lighting and atmosphere that I created for this prototype of a late 19th-century city shrouded in fog. Though it is not shown on the characters cape, this also shows the custom material I created for the characters costume to give it a more interesting reaction to local lighting.
This is a first-pass prototype of a city map interface. Depth of field and realistically-sized buildings were used to try to create a 'tilt-shift' effect.
